Level 1 Orff-Schulwerk Teacher Education Workshop 
Basic Orff 
June 17-28, 2019       Weekdays 8:30am - 4:30pm


This approved certification course of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association is a 10 day full-time course. It is based on the work of the composer Carl Orff and his colleagues who developed "Orff Schulwerk," music and movement for the school. Participants will explore Orff process, melody and rhythm, improvisation, pentatonic scales and bordun accompaniments. Ability to read music notation is a prerequisite.

                 After May 15, 2018 - $675.00
                      Repeat Level I  -  $150.00   
Workshop fee is tuition only and does not include the cost of credit. Participants may opt to register for 6 units of Continuing Education credit on the first day (June 18 from 8 – 8:30 am.) Payment of $180 ($30 per credit) must be made in the form of a separate check/money order made out to Utah State University.
Note: Workshop fee includes a non-refundable $75 deposit. No refunds after June 1, 2018.​
